Why was Lemonaid founded ? It’s pretty simple: the founders want to play their part in making a fairer world, through a Fairtrade product that also supports social projects in the growing regions of their ingredients.

Each bottle of Lemonaid and ChariTea contains only organic ingredients and ist Fairtrade-certified. . Lemonaid go beyond Fairtrade: every bottle sold gives an additional 5 cents to the Lemonaid and ChariTea Foundation. By doing this, they’ve already collected more than 6 million euros for social projects in the growing regions.

The Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Hamburg – which aims to contribute to the sustainable improvement of social, economic and ecological structures in the Global South. The foundation focuses on supporting entrepreneurial and income-generating initiatives to promote economic independence. The organisation is funded primarly from the sale of Lemonaid & ChariTea drinks, but donations and active participation are always welcome.
